I have always been drawn to the human figure as subject matters fo rmy art. Portraying human beings helps me to explore the experience of being human. In recent years, much of my work has been introspective individual figures, mostly female. Some of them are seeking to understand the divinity within them asthey try on wings and halos, trying to honor both the spirit and the body. Recently, more of my work has more than one figure in relationship with each other. I have focused mainly on parent/child relationships.

My work is primarily done in clay, though sometimes I have pieces cast in bronze. I use mostly stone bases, and sometimes have found objects or architectural settings of wood and metal. For my sculptures and bases, I usually stay close to the natural earth colors I love. Contact Info.
